I lived in Korea for a bit about 10 years ago and I used to see this all the time lol. In winter people would wear a coat or blazer on top over their blouse and then wear shorts on the bottom, sometimes over nude hose, so not a skirt but the concept is the same. It certainly looked cute but I don't know how they could stand it.

Yeah I noticed that when I was in Korea that a lot of the girls were around skirts when it was like cold as hell outside I'm from Miami Florida so...I'm mire used to the heat.

People do that exact thing in the States too. Every winter I see women in shorts and skirts and it gives me second hand chills. Not to mention the dudes just hanging out in regular t-shirts when it’s freezing out. How are these folks not cold?

I only wear skirts and dresses as well. In winter, you don’t stay outside for hours, mostly inside so you don’t have time to freeze, don’t worry + you get used to it just like your hands

Yes got me shock too 1st time traveling to seoul during winter. The winter there is like -8°C during day time and hit -16°C when the sun set. I wore like 3 layers pants. And saw this girl with mini skirt, and knee boots. Im turning my head 180° to see her and makesure thats a bareskin not a tskin color tights. Seoul girl build different, i tell u.

I live in Chicago. I wear skirts and dresses year round. When it's super cold, I also wear tights, and long coats. It's doable.
