Ghadir Shafie is a Palestinian activist and strategist, born and based in Palestine/Israel. She is a co- founder of Aswat- a Palestinian feminist-queer center for sexual and gender freedoms. She has spent the last decade of her life passionately advocating for the intersectionality of the struggle of Palestinian queer women, fighting multiple forms of oppression. Her interviews and articles appear in various media outlets and academic papers.

Dean Spade is a professor at the Seattle University School of Law. Dean has been working to build queer and trans liberation based in racial and economic justice for the past two decades. He’s the author of Normal Life: Administrative Violence, Critical Trans Politics, and the Limits of Law, and the director of the documentary “Pinkwashing Exposed: Seattle Fights Back!.” His latest book is Mutual Aid: Building Solidarity During This Crisis (and the Next).

The Red Crescent symbol is called Hallel هلال in Arabic. The same Hebrew word is Hallel הלל in Hallelujah. Hallel means praise or shine both in Arabic and Hebrew. Israel bombed hospitals and ambulances with Red Crescent Hallel signs on them.

We learned Genocide through history book and now we are witnessing and seeing it and I’m not sure who we should blame or thank for it. Actually I am speechless and I don’t know what to say but I’m asking myself how is this possible and we were thinking about bad people throughout the history but but knowing they still exist and our very own country is part of that genocide.

Why no emphasis upon BDS?
A major world populas may not become activists, as emphasized here. But will target pro genocide orgs to avoid doing business with them, as in avoid their products etc.
