Muslim leaders ‘could have stopped genocide' in Gaza

“It wasn’t that they didn’t have power. They chose not to use that power.”

Political analyst Sami Hamdi says Muslim leaders in Saudi, Turkey, Morocco and the UAE had pressure levers that could’ve stopped the onslaught in Gaza, but valued their relationship with the US and Israel more.

He also tells MEE that Iran shouldn’t be celebrated for attacking Israel, because it’s responsible for the death and displacement of thousands of Muslims in the region.

Absolutely ! The genocide could have been prevented if the so-called Muslim rulers would have shown some courage but perhaps Allah wanted to expose the munafiqs amongst Muslims. I think Allah also wanted to show the believing Muslims that what Allah had said about the kuffars, who wage war on Muslims, was absolutely true. All their beautiful words, their fake values, their false promises, and their crocodile tears could not have been exposed any other way.

He is correct about all, but i do have to push back somewhat and say that if it wasn't for Iran arming Hezbolla, Houthis, Hamas and Iraqi resistance Palestinians would never have the weapons to fight back.
