A question kinda related to the first one, what happens if one person has student loans in default (on a payment plan to get them out of that status) and a good credit score and the other has a great credit score and no student loans (paid off). Will the one in default keep them from getting a loan at all?

I wish this video was longer 😩 I will be starting my home process in 2 weeks. Up to this point, I’ve spoken with multiple lenders from the GA Dream program site. Most of them don’t recommend the program, some sounded like a car salesman, and some never returned my call. I think buying a home will be the most anxiety filled thing I will ever do. By any chance can you recommend lenders you trust?

I’m confused. Is the college excusal on the 2yr employment requirement dependent on certain lenders? I graduated May 2019 with my bachelors, starting off as a paraprofessional during my last semester in undergrad and became a teacher after I got accepted into the masters program but I was told by a MLO I had to wait until I reached 2 yrs with my school district.
