More young people are getting involved in politics these days – and being elected to office. Three years ago, Marcus Williams was the youngest elected Councilor in the city of Springfield, until 23-year-old Jesse Lederman decided to run, and won his second time around as an “At Large” member. Both councilors knew from a very early age that they wanted to take part in politics. What drives these young politicians and their desire to serve their community? Producer Alejandro Cameron visited with them recently to find out.
