As a veteran, I'd like to point out that the NDAA gets bigger every year because we have more and more veterans getting out of service who quite literally just fought two twenty year wars for us. Our medical care costs money, so too does the compensation we're paid for the injuries we've sustained while serving our People. You want a smaller defense budget? Stop making broken soldiers literally every decade like clockwork, and quit spending hundreds of billions of dollars on overpriced aircraft that only our Allies want, like the F-35.

Rep. Chip Roy, I readily accept that challenge to debate you on the subject of federal spending, any day of the week! However, I feel obliged to inform you that I am very knowledgeable when it comes to quantitative easing (QE), even an expert, so you might want to brush up just a bit.
A brief synopsis begins with stating the absolute fact that due to the advent of quantitative easing, QE3infinity, 2012, specifically, we do in fact have federal funding to - "Infinitum" - to quote Fed Chairman Powell and he was not kidding one little bit. Furthermore, Rep. Chip Roy, DUE TO QUANTITATIVE EASING (QE3infinity, 2012, specifically), WE DO NOT ACTUALLY HAVE A NATIONAL DEBT, BUT INSTEAD WE ONLY HAVE A PRETEND NATIONAL DEBT WHICH, OF COURSE, ALSO MEANS THAT OUR FEDERAL DEFICIT IS TOTALLY IRRELEVANT AND THIS IT 100% GUARANTEED.
You DO NOT want to cross swords with me on this subject, Rep. Chip Roy, but if you insist, I'm available, whether by phone or email or whatever, but the very best course of action for you to take is to first review at least video (9) on the YouTube channel Equity Spending that is not my channel, but the nine very, very severely algorithmically shadow banned videos are mine and the reason for all of the censorship/suppression is because the status quo that controls things in our nation does not want people like you to become as knowledgeable as I am when it comes to QE. By the way, my Equity Spending explanatory narrative on how and why quantitative easing works should not be confused with the more politically correct, Left leaning, in my opinion, inferior MMT explanatory narrative on QE spending and I have been sharing this message for fourteen years.
Another measure you should take before debating me on the subject of federal spending is that you really should spend the twenty bucks to purchase my book; it would be the best safeguard against being embarrassed, when it comes to discussing the topic you wish to debate, that you can possibly have.
