In the Season 15.1 Update, Private Custom Lobbies are here for all players in Apex Legends, along with Seer's Heirloom and the Control LTM. There is a player minimum needed to start the Private Lobby in Apex.

If they don’t change the minimum requirement then this will almost finally be the nail in the coffin for Apex. I love the game but we’ve been slighted so many times by EA that it’s not worth playing anymore. Sad times.

Im kinda blessed to have a group big enough.
But I'm in the 1% when I say that I am sure..
99% of people aren't gonna have 29 other people to group with.
A real let down.
Also super upset that I can't choose map variants from previous seasons, but they have that accessible in the tournament build (as if they'd even ever use it).

Thank you guys, you finally added in custom matches. But you fucked it up, the fact that I need 30 players just to play with my friends is absurd. I'm officially uninstalling this game. That was the last straw. I don't even care about next gen or cross progression anymore. Because they're not coming out.

I have maybe 10 max I would actually want to do a private game with, 4 I would actively like to. I can't imagine most people have 29 people ready to go at the same time even once a week, so is the intent just for mini tournament organisers? Whole thing seems like another "sorry we're just an indy company with no money, teehee" from EA :/
