I'm 22. I wasn't even a thought on my parents' minds when this came out. Mom was 24. Dad was 34. The fact that they'd dance to this in seperate parts of the world at the same time just blows my mind. It's crazy to think about much radio revolutionized humanity. What I find funny though is how they're shitting on 90% of the songs on the radio in those days and saying they're trash. When 40 something years later, 40-50 somethings still see the 80's as the time period that prduced some of the greatest music ever recorded. Crazy bro. 💙

Such a brilliant song, and such a brilliant band, with the inimitable Freddie. I loved this song at Live Aid, with the audience of all those people with their hands in the air - absolutely classic. I don't think Queen could have chosen a better song to do at that momentous event. Such a great song and band.
