We are a team of ten DCP from all around the world who hope to inform others on the unique experiences of those who were conceived through donated gametes. We especially wish to reach other DCP with our videos, to help them feel less alone on their journey in discovering who they are.

Yesterday I met 2 new offspring, a brother and sister who are 18 and 21 respectively. They found me on 23 and Me. That's happy news. But when I spoke on the phone with the young woman she told me an awful story about California Cryobank. She reached out to them when she turned 18, and asked to be put in touch with me. They told her she needed to create a portfolio with photographs from throughout her life, and to write a summary of who she is, and why she wants to meet me, her biological father. She was so daunted by this task that she never completed it. This is the same bank that lied to my oldest son 7 years ago that they did not have my current contact information. It's infuriating! I am so glad there are DNA sites now so that any interested DCP can circumvent these unethical sperm banks.
