Certain episodes of Stargate Atlantis reminds me of this. When the wraith attack the city in their gliders grabbing the defenders with the teleporting technology. And you can see all the rail guns firing away at the gliders. Like the PDF fighting the dark eldar raiding partys. Good series. 😊

A lot of Guard regiments tend to be recruited directly from the PDF or they simply take an entire PDF regiment as tithe. It all depends on the level of training the PDF of a world receive.

I really want to make/convert a 1.5kish force into a Blackchine Redoubt PDF. I already knew I'd be using my aegis defense line and try to make my forces look like they are specialized in fighting in entrenched atmosphere-less battlefields. I kinda want to make a PDF force that looks like it specializes in fighting on moons that don't have atmosphere. Need help. Van Saar and Navy Breacher Kill Team is what I'm starting with.

I have a PDF force, it's basically a conscript army of blob infantry. Sadly can't really field them now conscripts are gine, but still live them.

Yeah, like try to mess with the PDF of Worlds like Cadia or any other Major military Worlds. They will rip your as apart... the average Cadian Citizen is a fully trained soldier. The average Cadian PDF-Trooper will be quite the machine. And Consider this: the Kasrkin are Part of the Cadian PDF. They are not meant to fight on other worlds. They are the best of the best of the Cadian Warrior Kultur and they still could be considered to be "just PDF"
