Yeah I remember this when I was young. The hype to play was always real after watching this intro. Never skipped.

I must have spent months of my childhood on this game, it was my favourite game. Just watched this video for the first time in about 20 years and was reminded that much of the footage is from Magny Cours. A pleasing synergy in that, in 2022, over 20 years since I first played the game, I had the privilege to drive a 2011 Williams F1 car around the full Magny Cours Grand Prix Circuit. Strange what life can throw your way....

they basically had a rainy day to make some footage of Silverstone and used some other from the 1998 French Grand Prix. And that's a wrap. I used to watch it in full every time i played it.

The game that got me into simracing back in the days, I was 9yo when I got the Genius Speed Wheel Formula and GP3 for 2000's christmas. I spent countless hours with my brother playing this on the rainy F1 weekends after races. I will never forget that, good memories.
