Ive been following Dave since the Nirvana years, I've met the entire FF band and spent a significant amount of time (outside!) with them before a concert. It was one of the greatest feelings and highs I've ever had. Their music got me through so many difficult phases in life and their personalities are genuine. What you see in interviews is who they are in person. Taylor in particular was unbelievably sweet and took real interest in talking to me and gave me multiple hugs. I have their signatures and pictures with them that I will keep and treasure forever. When Taylor died I felt like the band should stop. I kind of resented that he was replaced so quickly and even the reunion tours seemed insensitive. With Dave's mother also passing in such a short time, it's hard for me to imagine Dave not self-destructing in some way. He went big. I'm disgusted by it but everyone's acting like no one else in the world has ever cheated before dave did it! Not excusing It whatsoever, and the risk taking was stupid. But I get it. Some people can't help but destroy their lives when they're in so much pain

She wasn't the only one that he was cheating with. He was having an online relationship with someone in Michigan. He is not committed to his wife and never has been.

At the end of the day, he's a famous rock star. That's what they do. They cheat. Why expect anything else out of these people? When the ring comes off, it's definitely over in my book. That says a lot. I expect to see him with the other woman any time now, looking like a complete fool.

I'm not saying what Dave did was right. But I don't think what he did makes him not a nice guy. He made a major f**ked up mistake that he is going to have to work through with his family. But he doesn't deserve all the good he has done taken away from him either. We've all made mistakes. And we all have good and bad sides to us. As fans know. Dave lost two of the most important people in his life in the last two years. His best friend Taylor Hawkins and his beloved mother. I know people are going to say aren't his wife and kids important. They are. But fans know what Taylor Hawkins and his mother meant the world to Dave. I don't how many of would handling losing their closest friend and then their closest parent 5 months later. It's like your world collapsing. It seemed like he was handling it. He had his family, friends, and band around him. The band came out with a new album and was touring but he was just burying himself in his work. As other fans have said, he's not looking good. Drinking too much and obviously making bad mistakes. In a Foo Fighters fan group. We are hoping Dave gets the help he needs. And hope he can work things out with his family. He is a great dad. As for the wedding ring. Looking at old photos. I don't think he really wore a ring. I think media makes too much out of people wearing rings or not wearing rings. I don't like wearing a lot of jewelry. I didn't wear my wedding ring when I was running errands. I didn't mean I was getting divorced. As for the canceled show. I felt bad for people who spent a lot of money on tickets. I almost bought tickets to that show.
