The thing I love about this franchise is that you can watch it from any point of view and you can support any character and they will all have reasons and justifications for what they do. There are no good guys or bad guys. You can watch these films over and over and due to their nature you will never get bored and you will always notice new things. The music is composed beautifully and most of the CGI is astounding. I even think that whilst the last two are the worst ones, by no stretch of the imagination are they bad. They are simply overshadowed by the beauty that is the original trilogy. Despite the retcon that happens in the last one it is still a good film due to the actors involved. All 5 films hold a place in my heart alongside Skylanders, Lego games and Star Wars due to the fact that they all coincided to create a beautiful childhood. And to be honest I wouldn’t be bothered if Pirates never got a 6th film, the first 5 are good enough for me. If they did make one then I can only hope they have Johnny Depp else wise the franchise will die for real. Or the film would be simply disregarded. But no matter what, I can confidently say that Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the best film Franchises ever and there are only 4 people i can thank for it happening. 1- Jerry Bruckheimer- he produced the films and many other masterpieces 2- Gore Verbinski- he directed the first 3 films and made one of the best trilogy’s known to cinema 3- Hans Zimmer for creating a beautiful Music score that gives me chills to listen to, and finally 4- The one and only, Johnny Depp
