In case anyone cares, I’m a product manager at a financial tech software company. I make $110K with 3 years of experience. No degree related to product management (other than certifications that I’ve done recently). I initially wanted to be an architect but ended up not doing that.

Man Ive worked in HVAC for 3 years, 25 an hour. work hours in nasty crawls, scolding attics, and come nowhere near to what these people make. In fact there are a lot of homeowners who will look down on you because you're a trade worker and not making bank behind your computer at home.
