TBH if Hank found out Walt did this immediately, he would probably have a one on one with him, find out he has cancer, and either let him keep the money (from the first batch sold) or help walter find the money another way (since he wont take money without earning it), avoiding having to tell jr and Skylar he has cancer. Walter would've lived out the rest of his life as a highschool chemistry teacher, and Jesse would probably be dead under a freeway pass with a needle in his arm.
