Probabilities of a Risk battle - Part 1

In this video we review how we use dice in the game Risk. At the end of the video we state the objective which we spend the rest of the series working on.

BRIAN? let me ask you something...in Risk...if I designate a group of armies on the game board as being sort of "special forces"...meaning I paid $$ ( because we use money to fund our war effort in Risk) if I spend money to designate a specific group of armies as being "special forces" ( i.e - better trained, better equipped) and that specific group of armies gets to roll "4" red dice while attacking, and "3" white dice while defending...does it increase there chances/percentages that they will win most of the individual battles ??? because my opponents still only get to roll 3 red and / or 2 white dice during each attack and defend phase. if this makes any sense? Lol's
