I love all your recommendations. I read this book last night because of you and I'm still crying.
It's insane to me that we can connect ideas and opinions through the internet (even knowing that my english isn't perfect) and now I'm sitting in my bed, in Brazil, thinking how strong is our power to impact people around the world, mainly with books and art in general.
Thank you for sharing all this books and thanks for all the people who uses YouTube to connect and learn.

I bought 'A Little Luck' and 'The Wind That Lays Waste' for my holiday after watching your reviews and I loved both so so much!! I read both in 1 day.
Love your videos!

Claudia Piñeiro does that underlying dread so very well. I've read 3 of her books so far (Elena Knows, A Crack in the Wall and All Yours), and they all have that sense underpinning the plot.

Elena Knows was incredible and it sounds like this will live up to expectations from that. I'll have to get a copy in time for WiT month

the growing paragraph really reminds me of the growing poem in To Pimp A Butterfly by kendrick. interesting to see that literary tool used in literature now

I just stumbled across a book online and I’m wondering if you’ve heard of it, it’s called Nettleblack and was written by Nat Reeve :))

Willow, did you read a little life yet? It's been sitting on my tbr book shelves for quite awhile. Bought it when it just came out on a recommendation from a bookseller. Been kind of putting it off on purpose, cause I investigated much later on, different booktuber reviews.

Wow….I love watching your reviews and you raved about this so that I bought this immediately. I am 2/3 through it and I hate it. I find it total soap opera and incredibly manipulative with no literary merit whatsoever. Part of the problem is the first person writing….., explaining everything instead of having an omniscient narrator describing actions so I could interpret what is going on. I don’t even want to finish it…because I don’t care about what happens …none of it feels real…it is a fabrication made to create emotion not a real exploration of the human condition.

I just listened to you describe what you got out of this again. I wish I had experienced what you did….but, no, I did not. I will finish it. If I change my mind, I will write again.

Oh geez, I am such an emotional bitch. Crossroads by Laurel Hightower made me cry, and I'll definitely also cry whenever I read this. 😩🥲
