Haldex is a great system. It works perfectly in the real world and doesn't have a big impact on the fuel mileage.

2:46 kierowca skręcił koła w akcie desperacji i dlatego wyjechał. The driver turned the wheels and therefore started off.

It’s really strange that first generation managed to pass while the last failed. He cars are different, of course, so we can’t just say “haldex v sucks”, still it’s interesting to try and make some analysis. Is it possible that the new A3 had some issues with its clutch pack or the pump? A friend of mine with a superb 2 had issue with his haldex pump that had failed, which lead to practical incapability to force the rear wheels to spin, but still had some veeeery slight power. We tried it on a slippery slope. Strangely enough, the car moved a cm or two, it looked like trying to push with the rear wheels and after a certain threshold was passed, it looked like the rear wheels just were saying “I’m done here” and the fronts right away were losing grip. He went to the service station he next day, they brought he car in the air and the rears started to spin. However, it was possible for two people to literally stop them by hand. They they scanned for errors and voila, an error for a failing pump was logged.
All that being said, is it possible that the newer A3 manages to spin the rear on the rollers because there is some kind of a mechanical preload, just like on the 2015 superb? And when the pump is required to kick in, it just can’t do it?

For real from mechanical point of view gen 5 is more complex and should perform better than the oldest gen 1 due to its better management...i don't know the actual ms needed for gen 5 to work compared to gen 1 but it should be less from gen 1 due to its proactive system....I had an experience in the front car latest cupra (gen v) haldex, I'm not joking or trolling but when the boost torque became too much the car started sliding .. I haven't seen any proactive system working, i had the opportunity to see and a gen 1 haldex doing the same thing and the car did the same thing as cupra (sliding slightly when torque was too much ) so for me Borg Warner made a scam just to sell something better when its actual the same thing .I'm 100% sure, nothing proactive is happening in the latest gen 5 haldex its exactly the same with gen 1( hahaha) i have seen it in front of my eyes in a fellow passenger car Maybe it wasnt gen v and it was gen vi (6) nonetheless its same, i have seen what gen 1 does, humanity is a scam nowadays...car manufacturers care only for profit...

cars failed the one rear wheel test, and I think that is more the fault of the EDL than the Haldex

To możliwe? Jest tam coś? Jeśli tak to na jakiej zasadzie działa?

The s3's did worse on the axle split test as it's clutch pack is 20y old, and it would've done better on the single rear wheel if it had more weight over it.. these cars are very front heavy.

Very interesting but 1st thing the steering wheel was horrible! 2nd the carbon fiber look on the dashboard and doors was like very poor ghetto style, 3rd the clear tail lights was like very dull look and last I would say because it’s in Germany, please this project deserved an R32 engine& gear box.
Come on I know you guys can do all this corrections and come back to blast another video🖤🖤
Cheers from Brazil
