They made it PG-13 to be able to stream it in Chinese theathers. It literally sometimes saves the movie from being financial flop like both Venom movies .

I feel so bad for the crew that worked on this. I feel like most don’t think about all the crew members who aren’t famous that get underpaid working on film.

Don’t worry in 10 years time, they’ll probably make another borderlands movie that is 100x better than what we have now.

I work at a AMC, and no bs, when I walked into a 10:30 showing of the movie in Dolby, not one person was in the audience 😂

There are just little things in the movie that piss me off as a pretty big borderlands fan. One of the main things is that Lilith’s gun(A Vladof Infinity) is the only one I’ve seen that’s actually from the games. Roland’s gun is shown in a lot of promotional materials and his gun literally doesn’t exist in game. It would make much more sense to give him an Atlas gun from Bl1 or a DAHL Scorpio from BL2.

They also just get bits and pieces of lore wrong. Specially around things that happened in the pre-sequel. Hyperions colors in BL1 are black and red and then change to yellow in TPS. Threshers are also an invasive species that originated from Elpis when the VH helped smuggle them onto Pandora, so they would not show up in a movie that is supposed to be based around BL1. Davis Pickle is also supposed to show up, and he is also from Elpis and I think he specifically recalls being born on Elpis.
