Fortnite was originally supposed to be a survive the night game. But I’m pretty sure it was changed a lot in the final to a mission based game, which is what STW became.

To be fair the concept was kinda too similar to Minecraft so I’m glad they changed it up for a mostly more original mission based style with objectives instead of surviving the night. To be fair the idea still lives on in the form of husks being more aggressive and spawn more often at night.

This was the PVE Fortnite game I was excited for in 2013 - this was before BR was ever a thing, before Fortnite was ever a PVP game. It's now Save The World and Battle Royale has overshadowed it for 5 years, I love the game I just wish Epic Games loved Save The World as much as Battle Royale.

Kinda wish Sypher continued his Save the World series, it was pretty cool to see his reactions.

There’s all these guns aside from that developer gun, still in Save The World plus more. On top of that tons of characters to play as and fun abilities if anyone just wants to vibe in the Fortnite universe Save The World is a great experience and you can earn lots of battlepass XP in Save The World now too.

A lot of the weapons are actually still in stw, also the "Tiny Instrument of Death" actually follows your reticle like the guided missile did. It's kinda like a nerfed guided missile

btw the private server used in that is called "Mercury" and was developed by Andrei_ and NathanFelipeRH, since sypher didnt credit, im putting it here idc if it gets flooded down

Actually, I think the default dance has a different voice prompt with every character, I believe all of them are voiced

This isn't Tilted, its very similar to one of the City maps in STW. The game was always meant to be STW, Battle Royale was a last attempt to save the IP after Fortnite flopped in July 2017.

It’s crazy to think stw pretty much stopped after battle royale came to be, it could have grown so much.
