As much as I hate big lick, saddle seat isn't that much better, and that doesn't get enough attention
The horses are still padded, often sored, tail nicking is used, the horses neck is in an unnatural position, the beautiful gait of the horse is disgustingly exaggerated, and the riders are painfully far on the horses back.

The saddle seat industry wants people to think they're the best and they never sore their horses, which is absolute bullshit and people should stop believing it.

Saddle seat facts:

1 horses are gingered which is a act of put is raw ginger in the butt to liven action and tail.

2 how ever much they say the gait is natural it’s just not.look at a saddle bred doing dressage.(I own a saddle breed but he’s retired)

3 the tail is put in painful tail sets, or has a surgical procedure to called “nicking” the tail so the horse holds the tail higher than normal.(this also prevents the horse from shushing its tail at flys)

Most saddle seat barns do not or give very little turnout to the horses.(for showing)
