I didn't think that the first one would still work in 1.16.5, but it actually did! Thanks! It really helped me build my End Rod Ass Blaster.

Why is it mildly infuriating with the fact he breaks the levers instead of turning them off?

You actually can slow down the Comparator Clock a little bit by adding a repeater to the output.

For the comparator clock, the reason it may not work sometimes is that it's too close, when the power is to strong and to fast it won't do anything, but if it''s a bit weaker (one extra redstone dust) then it will work.

Combining this with Impulse's item sorter, I was able to set it up so that the unsorted items get dispensed into lava, and I can turn the lavizer on and off with a switch! Finally a redstone thing that I could put together.

Extra Tip:
Use a torch attached to a powered block (eg Redstone Block) to start up the fastest clocks with ease

That last one was exactly what I was looking for, thanks. I was trying to figure out a similar clock but with rails and minecarts.

For the second clock, you don't have to quickly place and break a red stone torch, just use a monostable curcuit

You kinda should have mentioned that you require *sticky* pistons.

For the second one, to have a toggle, you must use a pulse shortener and the fact that a redstone current can travel through solid blocks.

I recently used clock number two in one of my projects [fireworks show] ... basically, I just set the clock aside and used a comparator and an adjacent line of redstone with a lever to either let the clock cycle through or not

Thanks a lot !

The last configurable clock work on 1.13.2. 8 items = ~2.75s between each pulse.

Nice Video, and I know it's quite some time ago but a small advice for the 2nd clock. You can send a very short signal by placing an inverting torch on the redstone. The torch will be lit and then very quickly turn itself off because you invert the signal with that torch.

The video is now older so I have decided to share a weird clock I never knew was possible with 2 observers. The detection part of both observers have to be touching (Both detection parts have to be facing each other) and if you look at the part that displays a signal flashes rather quickly!

thanks so much, I am trying to set up daylight generators that fluctuate between sending and storing power and this tutorial helped me out big time

Playing Minecraft for the first time in like 10 years and forgot how to start a repeater clock. That 10 seconds of the video was helpful to me. Cheers.
