For example 3 why don't we START OFF with the quadratic function in the first place? a = -4.9 b=12.6785 and c = -120. You get the time of flight of the whole trajectory right away. An Ideal Projectile Motion travels in a parabolic path and the displacement equation (AKA Eq1) IS a quadratic function, so why not just start there?
