I’m so glad I found this informative video today. We live in western Canada (not far from the Canadian Badlands which are also very cool) and we love to take road trips to go exploring and hiking in the US at least once every year. This summer we will be in the Rapid City area for the 3rd time but this will be our first time to Badlands NP. Too bad you just lightly touched the southern Badlands. They are my favorite part. I have been to the northern part 3 times and the southern twice. Definitely worth the drive, even though they are off the beaten path.

If you don't mind me asking how was the pay any good in being a park ranger? I was thinking about becoming one, but I don't know anyone personally that was a park ranger. I read it was a two or three college to become one and did you get to work outside a lot?
