Converting these prices to pesos my constant thought was

“I could’ve bought all of this with just my daily allowance, what the heck???”

I'm glad she's willing to try the type of food that people like me are afraid to and include it in her reviews.

Taho for $7=P350+, is mind boggling for me knowing it is P10 here

Guys, you must understand that monetary value is not based on the foreign exchange rate. To us, it may seem expensive because we literally look for the exchange rate immediately. However, she isn't in the Philippines and what she is eating could only be considered a novelty.

Aud $15 pork skewers for 3 of it? Thats like almost P200 per skewer.

$16 beef pares is like P630 and that's small. Thats too expensive. Its not like the P100 (or $2.50) and its already overloaded with neat, unli soup, rice, and a free soda.

Everything there is so expensive.

Speaking from experience, nothing is better then authentic Filipino food straight from a Filipino household

Prices are expensive there since the ingredients and stall rental are also pricey.
But here in the Philippines it doesn't cost much so the price doesn't cost that much at also.
Same as Starbucks coffee and jolibee, based on a vlog I recently watched, it's cheaper here in Phil compare to US..

No way the food is expensive in there, taho is only P10 here in PH, kwek kwek is P15, Pares is at P80 but you can find lower prices at some place with some unlimited garlic rice in it.

People are mind blown by these prices but forgot that the cost of living there are very different compared here in the PH.🤦‍♀️

Edit: SOME replies under this comment screams ignorance, damn…
