Notes: select mature coconuts. It is best to make in small quantities. Keep the oil away from sunlight.
If you do not have the cookware I used, then the next best option would be an iron kadai/pan or a steel but make sure the kadai/pan is heavy bottomed.
Once you switch off the flame, the coconut residue will again cook and color will change, so it is best to remove the oil with a ladle as soon as you turn off the heat. If making in large quantities keep in coloured bottle preferably red colour bottle.
