The Holy Roman Empire dominated western Europe for a thousand years. In this episode we'll meet Otto the great who rose up to end decades of Magyar devastation, reconquer Italy and revitalized culture in his empire. The rivalry between Emperors and Popes really heats up and one Emperor performs black masses on his wife’s naked body.
