Not even the S-Rank Credit Card can guarantee good results when farming Drive Discs. Seeing that flat Def sub-stat with the Crit Rate/Crit Dmg roll is pure dread.

How funny, I spent pretty much my entire day this past Sunday learning how this system worked through trial and error. Glad to have a lot of my understanding confirmed by this video. This system doesn't seem very player friendly, but if it's necessary to continue progressing then I'll do my best with it.

This system is the main reason I stopped playing Genshin, there's too many layers of RNG to go through in order to optimize a single character, and then you have to do it at least 5 more times. I'll try to keep going with ZZZ and maybe I'll learn to be happy with sub-optimal discs for the time being. Can't let the min-maxer brain control me

Something I like to do is obtain a good disc for each slot for the 4 piece. That way when I go for the two piece, I don't have to worry about the slot.

When the game first introduced me to the disc drives, I did not understand it at all and ended up making like a 100 slot 1 B rank woodpecker Electros... I found out though that I could scrap them, roll again, scrap, roll, scrap, roll, until I had what I wanted. Of course it wasn't 1-1 but I'd rather end up with 20 different "usable" discs than 100 worthless ones. A rank is cool because you have a chance on a 10 roll to get an S rank. Even if the S rank sucks, it will scrap for S rank Master copies.

And im here blindly leveling up drive disks just to get them to higher level because i thought that what then stronger. I dont know if i really love the game of if i really hate it. It doesnt explain non of this anywhere i thought this would be an easy game to understand. Its like the game kicks you in the deep in of a pool and tell you to figure it out.

wish there was a one-time grab bag of 100 low rarity discs just to start playing around with filters. the system is really competent when you have a lot of options but extremely frustrating when you have... 1-4 discs total per partion

Never played any other gacha before, but Jesus Christ, this game has more pain in the a$$ stuff to keep track of than any job I ever had and I've worked at some pretty crunchy jobs. Devs are just doing whatever it takes to push ppl to break f2p I guess. Shell out or forget how daylight looks.
