Martinez was not banned when a much larger audience saw what he did when picking up his medal. Leave Jude alone for crying out loud.

Is that an England fan? He may be English but he is no fan.

Oh, Darren, shut up and stop fueling this ultra sensitive era of ridiculous thought.

Southgates behaviour was far more offensive, He should be banned for at least 100 games

only England fans would want their own players banned lol

Instead of moaning about a silly gesture grt behind ur team.darren will be one of the first fans moaning if Bellingham is banned and England are knocked out. Never heard were a fan wants his own player banned in the crucial stage of a tournament. Weird

Bellingham's gesture is all down to personal interpretation! As an old guy, I didn't even see this and after watching it because of all the fuss, I still didn't make any link to anything lude. I saw the hand to the mouth bit but assumed it was his way of telling his critics to shut up! He's done nothing wrong and has kept England's hopes alive and therefore people should be proud of his hard work. People are saying he's played badly, but he's scored the most important goals of the England games and has run countless miles to keep us alive! If he's not fed the ball, he can't show his amazing skills and anyone watching him play should realize he's not the only one in the team! As for Darren, you really are a Karen and need to stop watching football and instead start watching chess. What a great response by the presenter by the way - "I bet you're fun on a night out!" You deserve a medal for that response. BTW, I guess Karen, er Darren, has never worked on a factory employing 1000 or so employees, both men and women....he'd get ripped apart and would go home crying within his first hour on the job! COME ON ENGLAND!!

What England fan would want any of our players to be banned during a tournament?

Here it comes. Nobody had a clue about it until the media brought this incident to our attention. Maybe a small percentage in the stadium clocked what he did but even then people would’ve been confused as to what the gesture was.

From what i've seen of jude, he seems very respectful, and is very kind and has a lot of time for kids. Although not appropriate I think sometimes you have to apply a little bit of pragmatism, and the fact that he got carried away in the moment and that has to be recognised. It's not like he walks around the whole game doing it.

Bellingham has not played the best however both of his goals have been important and scoring is the hardest thing to do in football
