Coronavirus spreads to Europe and Australia | DW News

Australia has become the latest continent to confirm a case of the coronavirus, which originated in China. Three cases have also been confirmed in France -- those are the first cases reported in Europe. Here are the latest numbers: the virus has now killed at least 41 people, with more than 1,300 others also infected. Travel restrictions remain in place in over a dozen cities in China, as authorities try to contain the spread over the Lunar New Year holiday.
