I just recently made my first Snippit catch (not counting the one you have to make first for a quest), and the "goo catch" is the one I chose -- and I love it! I'm so glad to hear this! I was just about to level mine up soon! But I love your idea of placing more low-level ones around, and just collecting sooner -- especially if I'm hyperfocusing in one Biome at the time. I have in each biome 6, 9, or 12 lure traps highest level.
I made all my characters snippet catch buddies.
Every round I make I catch for 150.000 storybook magic.
I have over 4.000.000 storybook magic now.

Happy New Year! This is great information! I haven't gotten The Storybook Vale yet. I come back and rewatch your videos to learn more. I am still at the beginning of Eternity Isle. (I need to get that moving. I try not to do much unless recording but thinking I should just play and do small videos like you do. Not many people care about the ones I create. Is this dlc ? I’ve been playing for like two days and Mickey or wizard man told me to go to the humming bird and I thought it was extra but it let me move in and now we can catch those cute paper birds lol, I’m still super early game and I just got pumpkins unlocked because I heard it was good but I thought the beach was gunna be the same price but it was only 1k lol
