Yours was the first video to show unhooking the mounting bracket in the back of the upper intake manifold. Thank you so much! Made it so I could get the job done.

Can that thick foam silencer pad be eliminated to aid in air circulation for cooling around the ignition coils and the like on the front bank??? I've heard that it can be beneficial for longevity of heat sensitive parts.

I have a question, I saw on my 2012 JGC manual that the upper and lower intake manifolds, both needs to be torqued at 71 in lbs. I was watching a lot of youtube videos but most of them said that needs to be torqued at 106/89. Can someone please confirm. Maybe this torque specs are because of a new revision or for the newer models?

I removed all 7 bolts on top. Remove the bracket from the back and the 2 bolts in the front. Still can't get the intake off. Any suggestions?
