Facts: Indonesia played in the 1938 World Cup when the country was still colonized by the Netherlands under the "Dutch East Indies". Additionally, DR Congo participated in 1974 World Cup when it was known as Zaire.

Indonesia did not exist at the time. It was the dutch east indies and the native football association didnt even offer their players. The team consisted of indo dutch mixed race players and ethnic chinese players.
