Occasionally I use them but usually the pace of the matches is just too quick to make good use of them.

If you have no marks, aim about 20 meters behind the capture points your team is attacking and fire in a line from left to right or vice versa. This usually gets you lots of kills as bots and players rush in to defend from multiple directions.

I have used your tip of marking enemies on the trigger, great advice my man! Ive gotten into little habits like when i activate mines, or mortars and melee charge i look up to avoid the little accidental ping. I love your videos para best wnlisted youtuber!

Some additions tips, you can place your own mark on the map by opening the map holding left alt then right clicking on a spot, use the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom out then in to the area you want to see. Also prioritize getting an engineer into your squad as soon as possible so you can place down ammo to restock your mortar. Additionally if you are unsure if the area you are shooting at is a good one, only shoot three rounds and wait if it is good fire for affect if not move target and try again. Also use the smoke rounds to help your team advance on objectives by places them in front of the objective and move your shots left and right to cover a wider area.

The faster you shoot the more it spreads out you can hear the difference too take your time in between shots

Unfortunately it seems like matches are few and far between with anyone marking anything. Even when I ask for marks I get nothing

Try telling my teammates that, I'd appreciate it. It's why all my mortar squad all have binoculars; sacrificial riflemen go first to recce targets and catch strays.

i don t understand why some squads require an enormous amount of xp to level up, like this with mortar or the german riders on motorcycle.. the riders require 18k xp only to lev up from lev1 to lev2... incredible

Mortars obviously aren't effective if used on indoor points, so your best bet with those is to aim anywhere between 15 and 30 meters behind the point or at any marks your team gives you

Is it different for American mortars, it’s odd cause even the zero distancing is in yardage for the bazooka. So does American mortar not use meters. Cause I swear I have to like set it to around minus 15 to 20 whatever meters the target is saying for it to hit in that zone
