Even though the fight against Darth Vader isn't technically a boss fight in "Fallen Order", we will never get over how epic, terrifying, and surprising his entrance was.

I love that Fallen Order kept Vader completely secret until the very end. They gave us zero hints or teasers or any indication that he was in the game.

The utter fear on Trilla’s face is so damn good. Makes the entrance hit harder than anything I’ve ever experienced in video games. Bravo. Fantastic game. This one definitely takes the cake.

Vader will never stop being terrifying. This is how he is suppose to be portrayed, and the same goes for any other villain. Fear, surprise, and intimidation. Vader encompasses ALL three. He instills fear into you, he surprises you with his appearance, and his intimidation alone is enough to make you run away and pray.

I remember just being blown away by Ganon's second form, in Ocarina of Time. He flies out of the ruble and taunts a horrified Link and Zelda.

I just finished Fallen Order (again) last night and the cool thing about Darth Vader is that you can’t beat him. The only goal you have is to survive.

For me it was Dark Souls 3 Nameless King, his entrance very imposing yet majestic.

Super Mario 64, the Bowser entrances where he stomps on the ground then pan up to his face and laughs. Plus that awesome music. Being a kid just being blown away by those graphics and this 3D version of Bowser I've never seen before. Chefs kisses on that one.

Leviathan in Final Fantasy XV wasn't hard at all but damn is it full of spectacle and awe and makes you feel like a complete badass

I think for me I'd have to say the Biolizard from Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and experiencing the music with it all together at the same time was creepy and unexpected 😂

I never expected to see Vader in Fallen Order. I heard the thud when he landed and the breathing froze my blood when he started approaching. Having played Star Wars games and fought many bosses for years, Vader always feels like one you are never supposed to defeat.

I clicked on this thinking of the Vader entrances in both jedi games, and literally the first example clip is the FO one. I have a friend who knew Vader appeared but not the exact circumstance until like a week ago. She said she screamed when he appeared. Of course it’s top of the list. The breatheing and the heavy footsteps combined with the ominous music give you chills every time. And then he asserts his dominance by killing Trilla, force yeeting Cere, and force choking Cal. And he has no freaking health bar! And then Anakin’s Dark Deeds kicks in and it’s just perfection!

Sovereign's boss battle entrance from mass effect was pretty good, when him and the geth made a b line straight to the citadel while destroying ships in their path and that awesome theme playing

I have the Vader series for my oculus, and let me tell you, when he stands before you in VR, he is terrifying. Like I tried to brave face that but ooooh boy. My face was like chest height. And that voice will give you chills. He has every right to be on this list, lol.

No love for Gof of War 3? I mean, the opening battle against Poseidon is truly something else. Also the way Hades is introduced in near darkness with his booming voice....chills every time. Not to even mention Cronos....

My personal favorite? Eggman's entrance with the Egg Dragoon in Sonic Unleashed. Leads into the best boss fight in the game, and everything about it, the atmosphere, the music, the set-up is phenomenal. Best boss intro for me.
