You look dehydrated; don't forget to stay hydrated while you are working so hard. Thank you for the thoughts.

Great analysis once again, Joseph! Not sure why everyone was expecting J-Pow to be hawkish when he tied himself to the ultra dovish mast (Odyssean forward guidance) at the December 2023 presser. And if J-Pow doesn't care about recent reflationary data, the market won't care about what he has to say (muted reaction in Treasury yields today).

Do you think the fed and treasury department are taking actions that are covert that help prop up the stock market?

Powell also said he cant see the stag or the flation... is he lying again or is he really as blind and clueless as he says he is?

Great job as usual !
Suggestion: would be nice u explain how u see the market expected 7 cuts early this year and today only one cut,
Or if there is a graph of some sort we can refer too on how we can see those numbers u talk about .
Thx .

Other FOMC members keep saying rate hikes aren't off the table. Powell never explicitly closes the door to rate hikes either, but does a good job of deflecting and focusing on the near term aspect of there not being a discussion of rate hikes currently. How is everyone so confident in peak rate achieved when the FED's confidence keeps dwindling rather than increasing?

Always appreciate your perspective Joey. Any thoughts about the Quarterly Refunding Announcement having an adverse impact on liquidity in the short/medium term?

An economic recession could bring inflation down, just like we experienced during the Great Recession of 2007-2009.
