Only Trust Him was one of the songs at the top of my list while searching through countless hymns for this project. In my church, growing up, we often sang this one as an invitation to respond at the end of a worship service. Now, as an adult, I am deeply moved by the poetry and the depth of meaning as the song calls out to the weary offering rest. I hope you are as blessed as I am by the arms-outstretched, welcoming embrace of this masterpiece.

Sir. I have no words for the impact your voice has had on me. You are the finest singer I have ever heard!! Your spirit and compassion comes across the monitor and brings me to tears. You have made me sing again. I want to join a choir. Really. My voice has been too quiet. What a gift God has given you and He is glorified through it. Well done. I got up at 3am and turned you on. I can't stop listening to you. It is now 5am. My dad at 96years old passed away March 26th, 2021 and I played your No More Night at the graveside service. I was doing good up until your voice came on and I couldn't control the flood of tears. But perfect for the celebration of life for my dad as he struggled with his last breath but No More Tears, No More Pain...Hallelujah. My sister went to all the concerts and wow did I miss out. I never even heard of Gaithers or you for that matter. Being saved for only 9 years, I never grew up with the hymns but now I am getting my fill in. This was often sung at the end of our church services as an invitational hymn when I was a little girl. The old hymns actually preached the gospel story. I miss hearing them in churches today. 😊
