Awesome job picking — you seem to have a knack for it. I love that your first Lishi pick was a 350z because it was mine as well! I still have the 350z I bought in 2003 (and did a twin turbo conversion in ‘06 😈). I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it.

Everyone at Donut should have a week with a practice lock, then do a competition to see who can pick a lock.

Pro tip: when you use an air wedge, use it on the passenger side so that if the door gets warped a little the driver doesn't have to hear wind noise for the rest of their life.

Yooo, thanks for showing me this! I was skeptical at first but I bought a “Lishis” and practiced unlocking and starting my truck. I got so good at it to the point that I have successfully stole two cars in my first week! Thanks Donut and keep up the good work! 💯 💯

Jerry just casually picking locks is both incredible and terrifying lmao

My husband and father-in-law ran a roadside assistance service, including lockouts. The bag is by far the most common way they got into cars, worked on pretty much everything except a Mercedes G-Wagon (the doors are too strong to wedge out). Most modern cars have shielding to prevent the use of a slim jim. And the coat-hanger looking thing can be very effective for lever lock style doors.

I’m a Locksmith from Louisville KY, I use the air wedge and the Lishi tool every single day. Thanks for showing the world a little bit of what us locksmiths do!!

The chrome wire lock out tool has a specific vehicle application, normally 80's to 90's GM vehicles with the slide lock. They work extremely well for that but nothing else.

I had to help a coworker break into their car the other night during lunch at work (night shift at an automotive factory). His carabiner broke and he didn’t notice his keys fell off onto the seat. I had to use my kabar to wedge his door open and use a coat hanger to pull the door latch. Was pretty awkward explaining to security when they rolled up lol

I have a few " bump keys " I use when a customer loses their car keys and needs a new ignition. Its mostly older Toyotas and Chryslerz I'm able to use shaved keys to open and remove the ignition with. I did lockouts for years and the bag and rod is definitely the easiest way to gain entry.

Showcasing how to steal the van was a good idea. You would have to be pretty stupid criminal to steal a bright yellow van that says "Donut" down the side of it 😂

Just got to say, about a month ago I saw someone under a tarp working on a car, so I pulled over to see if they needed some help and some tools and they took off running with the cats 🤣

25 years ago, after probably weeks of an annoying rattle in my '93 honda prelude driver's door, I pulled the liner off to try to find what I assumed was a loose screw or something. I found a whole wire hook thing - the third tool tested, fully inside my door. Who know how long it had been there.

I know for a fact he’s been waiting to be able to say that for a while😂

The trick to the Slim Jim is knowing where and what angle to put it. I've only done a few, all my own cars... Because I am REALLY bad about leaving keys in my car. Older cars are easier. Some newer cars have shields to block you also. The kits usually come with a guide to show you tips.

Also, I've seen a lot of lock outs working downtown. An inexperienced slim Jim user can do some damage. Don't get too rough or you'll be taking the door apart to replace plastic pieces.

Donut has this weird ability of posting exactly what I want to know

Most recently, I want to purchase a motorcycle. Yesterday's video was a buying guide.
I lost my car keys. Today's video is car lock picking
