Hello, I’m Sammy! I am a medical student studying at Imperial College London, where I have expanded my knowledge of science exponentially throughout the years, developing a passion for teaching in the process. I am ardent about helping my students achieve the grades which they desire, and nurturing their potential to be the top of their class!

I have spent the last two years tutoring A-level, GCSE, and first year medical students, which in addition to having achieved A*A*AAs at A level and 10A*s at GCSE, means I have both abundant experience and am thoroughly familiar with the course content. It feels like yesterday I was in their shoes, and I am eager to give them the boost they need to achieve A*s in their exams!

Given that all students have their own style of learning, my sessions are flexible in order to cater to their specific needs. First, we will identify the key areas/concepts which the student feels requires attention. Then we will elucidate the content with a focus on relevant exam questions in order to ensure the student has a rigorous understanding of what an answer requires to achieve full marks, according to the mark scheme.

During my lessons, I encourage my students to ask questions and always give them ample opportunity to do so. I also understand that students learn at their own speed, so I make an effort to ensure every student is satisfied with the pace of the session. I am also keen to provide tips and advice regarding revision technique and timetabling for success in exams.
