The excitement of live TV was evident tonight on The Miss Universe stage with over 10 million live fan votes tabulated. Unfortunately, a live telecast means that human error can come into play. We witnessed that tonight when the wrong winner was initially announced. Our sincerest apologies to Miss Universe Colombia, Miss Universe Philippines, their families and fans. We congratulate Miss Universe Philippines as Miss Universe 2015.

Miss Philippines also was embarrassed, it should be her winning moment but it became an awkward situation. So stop saying like only Miss Colombia was the victim here, they both are.

For the record:
FIRST: One of the judges posted that it was Miss Philippines who was their unanimous pick as Miss Universe. Period.

SECOND: Replay the Q&A for the top 3 and ask yourself: Who gave th best answer which is non self-centered and specific.
THIRD: Physical beauty is very subjective. Process it.

FOURTH: The cue card showed Miss Philippines as Miss Universe

FIFTH: You noticed that the candidates did not rush to congratulate Miss Colombia? Because they read it on the teleprompter (per Miss Australia's interview) "Philippines, you may now take your first walk as Miss Universe". Acceptance is the key. Things happen. Be a bigger country than boasting on physical beauty. On a side note, if physical beauty is a real and heavy basis for pageants, who has the most crowns this year?

well yesterday a lot of her supported said that its her interpreters fault why she didint have the best answer and look at her now, she can speak english.oh excuses!

I feel bad for Miss Colombia but the most pitiful woman during that moment was Miss Philippines, she was not able to enjoy her crowning moment. It was solely her time to shine but it turned out to be a really confusing spectacle.
Either of the top 3 deserved the crown but Miss Philippines clearly owned the question and answer portion. And thats what made her stand out from the competition. The judges, her fellow candidates and the online votes proved it.

You cannot be disappointed Miss Colombia because you did not actually win. You were 1st runner up. Showing how disappointed you are shows an immature character. Miss Colombia, YOU were 1st runner up. Just because someone read the card incorrectly does not mean you deserve the crown. Get real! Grow up! If the piano player misreads the card, it does mean that you should become an automatic winner. If my son misreads the card, it does not and should not make you an automatic winner.

Miss Colombia new a mistake was made. She should have handed the flowers to the outgoing Miss Universe, then removed the crown herself and put it on Miss Philippines head, taken the sash off her and placed it it over the shoulders of Miss Philippines. Then have the outgoing Miss Universe give the bouquet of flowers. That would've been the coolest think to see, a CLASS ACT, and she would have won the hearts of millions including mine. But, instead of doing that, she just stood there, appearing dumb and showing her disappointment. You can't be disappointed Miss Colombia, because you did not actually win.

We all feel bad for Ms. Colombia, anyone should not experience what she had. It was the host's honest mistake!
Give the real winner a break and let her enjoy it! To the bashers, you guys are sick sore losers!

La verdad la Filipina se lo ganó la Corona legalmente bien, aquí el problema fue el presentador que hizo el error. Lamentablemente es muy triste para Miss Colombia, pero se le pasara y tiene que resignarse con honor.
