Just purchased the first of what surely will be many wyze cams. I can not believe how great these cameras are, and not just for the price, but just great in general. I am continuously looking for other places to put them!

Did the app change or was this feature removed because this is not in my settings. Wyze please update the video to match the current app and let me know how to do this. I am planning to use it as a baby monitor and want to know be informed with he wakes up (sound). thanks

It would be a great feature to add the alerts to turn off when your smart phone is within proximity. ie. Automatically starts sending alerts after you leave the space.

Is it possible to link wyze cameras to google home items, so for example, when motion is detected, it turns lights in home to red or triggers alarm sound on google spakers?

I'm getting sound notifications but no motion notifications. How do I fix it? I have 4 cameras and they are all doing the same. Just received the cameras 2 days ago.

Can you set it on the Wyze cam pan to where you have it on pan scan mode and still have detection zones?

Everyone that isn't seeing the alert settings on at least iOS...This is an older video and the cameras have a new menu layout. The alert settings are there, they are just in the next menu options after the initial screen. Click on them and you will find the options you need.

Would be nice to be able to set motion ZONES like what Ring does. For me ideally i'd set it to record the front yard and street and set it for continuous recording to the SD card & NAS, and then motion alert just for the front yard.

How do I turn off the alarm. It goes off all the time?

Okay I figured it out!!! You have to select the camera you want notifications for then you go to the settings in the top left corner then it will say event recording click on that and turn it on for sound or motion🎊🎉🎉

If I have a shared user in my account, could I set up a camera that only send motion notifications to the shared user and not to the admin?

Why is my app different from the one you are using? I just bought it so it should be up-to-date. What you are showing is way more advanced than what I have.

Does push notifications only work when it sends to the cloud? I don't have a subscription.

Also would be nice to have the Wyze cam tell Alexa to turn on security lights (WIFI smart bulbs) when motion is detected at night, since none of your products have illumination built in. Don't know if this is possible.

Love the wyze cams but I hope they improve the detections zone feature the rectangle doesn't work in my situation the street is on an angle

I love this camera. However, how can I setup the longer alert recording duration, more than 12 Sec. that default setting?
