No, we know the real reason why you dislike it is because there is no leg printing don’t even lie 💀

The hands are plastic because they would break too easily if they were wood I think

I feel like this is a nice call back to what Lego made back in the 30s and 40s, wood trucks and other wood toys.

Bro missed the chance to complain about leg printing

As someone who’s trained as a woodworker I completely understand why they couldn’t do the hands. They would very easily break

The hands being left out was probably due to wood not being as flexible as plastic and by putting items in the wooden hands would cause them to crack or completely break

Remember, this guy was mad about the lego brachiosaurus having a huge gap in it’s neck

"130 dollars for just a peice of wood just seems like pure insanity"

The cost for the carving process, the cost of the wood, making the wood splinter free and the cost of the plastic are all playing a part in it. Could you make it cheaper? Yes, but its like pc building, you're also paying for the work to be done onstead of YOU doing it, someone needs to be paid for it, so ofc the price is gonna be higher.

And like others have said, chairs and tables are technically just big peices of wood that we pay TONS for.

Ive also seens some point out that you pay more for much smaller plastic, hell, most big sets are in the $100 range.

The arguments here against it boil down to "why plastic" and "why am i paying for a peice of wood" without taking a few seconds to realize why its that much

If the hands were made of wood, it would not be able to handle the pressure of legos snaping in its hands, which is why it was the only pice that was plastic

Well, yall would pay way more than that for “just a bunch of plastic” so don’t be suprised that they are testing other materials

"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

That's not a minifigure anymore, that's a figure 😭😭

As a woodworker, the hands would be too fragile to make out of wood. They could have made them look like wood at least
