Today I take a look at the Top 10 Worst Selling LEGO Themes that were on shelves from 2014 to 2017. These include subthemes for themes like LEGO Star Wars, and other surprises... all based in the United States!

People always forget about Chima. I thought it was tons of fun when I was a kid. The last set of Legos I think I ever got from my grandma before she passed was a Chima set, and I loved it dearly.


Edit: Ignore the arguments going on in the replies. I seem to have forgotten that the secondary purpose of the internet was to fight other people from long distances.

I still miss Chima, i loved the design of the sets and characters, in my opinion it had alot of potential, it was sad to see it go so soon.

I loved hero factory, I don’t care what people say that was a big part of my childhood. I would love a well made reboot.

Hero factory was the goated. I still remember spending my entire holidays building a mega hero with like 12 cannons from the arms legs back and all, also had a shield, double bladed chainsaw sword. Taser chain, the og handcuffs lol and other cool stuff. I rmb deciding to build that after getting the doctor smth set, the huge black colour villain with the staff. It was amazing. I even made my hero a mecha lion mount that came with flamethrowers and even more cannons and stuff. Memories

Chima is a great LEGO theme! The fantasy of Beasts battling alone is hours and hours of fun. My kids loved Chima and still do, when I introduced them to the Thundercats it was Thundercats adventures all The way using the Chima characters. We built the thunder tank, and a bunch of other Thundercats vehicles so I don’t think Chima should be in the thumbnail let alone mentioned here.

I think Chima didn't do well because it was obviously replacing Ninjago (at the time) and some thought it was a ripoff of the Thundercats

I hated lego dc girls when it came out, especially the ads, and for SOME reason Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn are SUPERHEROES???

the demise of bionicle gen2 was most sadening for me. I almost felt depressed when I looked at my shelves and was able to say "I have every single set they released." I even picked up Ikimus' Falcon, that little beast that cane in a poly bag around the same time as well as all the books and graphic novels they released.

The only reason the bionicles were cheaper was because the lego brand didnt have to pay for licensing

I would love to see a theme called "lego vault" where they would remake some of the best sets from themes like chima or hero factory or nexo knights and they wouldn't reboot the ENTIRE theme they would just bring back a couple sets from retired themes.
