In this video I take a look at my latest film camera purchase, a ‘Leica’ copy which cost me £26, a Fed 3a Type 1 Rangefinder Film Camera that was introduced in the USSR back in 1961 fitted with an Industar 26M lens. This video took quite a long time to finish and involves me shooting with two lenses and two rolls of Kentmere Pan 100 in the camera due to various issues encountered along the way.

These Industars 26 and 61s are easy enough to lubricate and clean the old grease off. There's a few videos in YouTube if you ever feel like giving it a try. I think the camera could have issues with the shutter which cause banding or uneven exposures. Not sure what could be causing the weird light reflections you are getting, maybe it's an internal reflection from a light leak or something, strange anyway. I'm really fond of my FED 2 but I'm honestly always prepared for it to stop working all of a sudden, its a bit the reality with the soviet rangefinders.
