I do the same thing. While im messing around on acoustic i turn on the recorder on my phone and play and hum. Sometimes i make up goof lyrics 😅. It really works. Thanks, Pete.

Really fun podcast Pete, only caught a few minutes during broadcast but wrapped it up on the replay this morning! Great ideas and I also am a firm believer of recording a voice memo ALWAYS when a new idea strikes. I think of all the ideas I've lost before I became strict about that. I feel like I can always remember, for example, the chords I was playing for a new idea, but I always seem to lose the "feel" or "vibe" with which I was playing them if I don't record it. Sometimes it's a race to the phone to not lose the feel of the progression. Sage advice.

I have a question about garage band iOS
When I go to the visual Eq and I turn up the gain of a merged track I made so the beats sound correct and loud enough
But then when I merge it all after it then reverts the beats back every time and how do I fix that? It’s been bugging me for so long..
