COVID-19 outbreak in Beijing stokes lockdown fears, sparks panic buying

Fears of a strict COVID-19 lockdown in China's capital has sparked panic buying. Mass testing is underway in Beijing's largest district, Chaoyang, which has 3.5 million residents, after a spike in infections. Several residential compounds have been placed under lockdown. Beijing has detected 29 new infections, and case numbers are expected to rise. On social media and WeChat, lists of recommended items to stock up on were circulated, even as officials and Chinese media sought to reassure residents that supplies are sufficient.

It is the highest time someone to research the Shanghai lock down because it may be the experiment how the people will behave in war or natural catastrophe under the seizure  that force them to live so.
