Delta Lady - Cover by Gib Heuett

This one is one of my favorite Leon Russell songs – Delta Lady. He recorded as did Joe Cocker and this version is a bit of both. Do check them out. There are some great versions on YouTube. I first heard this tune in the early 70s watching PBS where they aired what I later learned was called the Leon Russell Homewood Session (Definitely check this out). Delta Lady stuck out with me as a favorite. There are so many tunes that have raised my heart rate through the years and this is one - hope you enjoy this take on it!
