Early hit from Joe Cocker. Most folks won't know it, but it's one of my all time favorite tunes. It's kind of a steamy love song written by Leon Russell for his then girlfriend Rita Coolidge. It's a song from my youth when we were really poor in St Pete. I remember hearing it on my mom's record player in the early 70s. One of those tunes that I knew, but took me a while to remember how I knew it. Probably why I always loved Joe Cocker. He passed away 1 day before my father, so I can't think about one without the other. And since the timing of his passing, his music means more to me than before.
