The saddest part about this all is that we won't see more of these amazing Oppenheimer interviews once The Oscar Season ends!

I have gut feeling this won’t be the last time Nolan and RDJ work together 🥲

Robert Downeys pure joy through all these interviews is in itself a joy to watch.

Jenelle Riley is a terrific moderator. She did a terrific, entertaining job interviewing Cillian for the SAG foundation career retrospective and she's wonderful here. Love this cast so much. She bring out the best with good questions and conversation.

Downey makes Nolan cry, that’s pretty awesome to see, pretty rare that Nolan cries actually the first. Downey made Dad proud 😂. Thank you for sharing

It's been so great seeing the more jovial side of Christopher Nolan throughout these past few months of press interviews

The look of cillian and robert when christopher speaks show how they respect their director.

Damn. Nolan's unexpected, uncharacteristic "I Love you, Man", had me in stitches.
P.S: Also, people who criticize Nolan, claiming his movies have no humour or emotion are either truly stupid or are just malicious. Emotion is at the core of all of his movies from Memento's revenge-obsessed protagonist to Inception's Cillian character finding peace with his father's memory being the biggest part of the movie's twist. And all his movies have humor. I think Nolan intentionally created the robot TARS character in Interstellar with adjustable humour setting to mock his critics who falsely accuse him of being humorless. I think too much MCU movie humour has corrupted the audience and critics. ( I do like MCU movies by the way. But not the newer ones.)
(Cillian's comment on what Nolan sees in an actor @ 36:21 triggers a humourous & serious back-and-forth compliment, ultimately ending with Nolan's epic "I love you, man" @39:38.)

This leader of the session is fantastic. Best interview ever. Really got Chris Robert and Cillian to be at their best. Bravo to her.

Loved Oppenheimer as just a movie. But just to have Chris Nolan be so vocal is in itself enough for me. I don't think he would have given so many interviews for any of his previous or future films. Only for Oppenheimer since he believes this is not his story, for the first time he just was a mediator of an already existing story. The script too was written as though its a letter or diary entry from Oppenheimer himself.

Did I see Chris Nolan cry ? or was it just jesting to Downey's humour yet gratitude. I want to imagine Chris Nolan being so sensitive but from someone so secretive it's hard to believe !! Am I correct, did he shed tears ?

I love that you can see the exact moment he came up with the "I love you man" line.

Watch the difference in how each actor/director enters the room. RDJ literally is Iron Man, Cillian is kinda shy and Christopher Nolan is more business.
