If this video is fuzzy, I apologize. It is still processing the HD version. Please be gentle in the comments. I know while I was gone, I got quite a bit of "YOU'VE GIVEN UP, YOU'VE CHANGED, DON'T UPLOAD THIS, I DON'T LIKE THESE VIDEOS" on my Short videos, or a lot of general rude comments... Shorts are another part of my channel that will be added in addition to my tutorials, and they make me really happy. Also... meanwhile.. I was going through this. You NEVER KNOW what is going on in someone else's life. Choose to be kind. Thank you for your support.

To anyone who is going through this, has gone through this, through any stage, you are so loved.

I survived breast cancer and part of me still hasn’t fully processed it. It’s tough. You’re a strong woman. You can only go up from here

MY father had stage four melanoma. This was seven years ago. He was told he had six months to live. ( Washington State) - Today my father is 91, works out daily, takes college classes, etc. The cancer was in his liver, lungs, spine. He was told there was a new drug that he could try - Immunotherapy. Long story short... it saved his life. He was a patient at the University of Washington Hospital . I just wanted to share. He is in remission. Check it out.. It is good to know about this medication. just FYI.

My husband got his first melanoma at age 23. He just turned 76... The important thing is to monitor your body all the time and get anything suspicious handled quickly. Hugs to you!

Also just want to say thank you for your kind words. This video was HARD to film. It may take a bit to read all of the comments, I just don’t want to cry again, haha. I’m okay to talk about everything, just explaining it to new people never seems to get easier so far.

So you made me cry. About a month ago I was diagnosed with cancer. Not the same, kind but terrifying. I have my surgery next week. Here's what made me cry. I'm 61, you're so much younger. I've had a great run. You're just beginning. I couldn't breathe till you said they got it all. It's your turn to have a great full life. I'll be ok.

The fact that this video has 3.1K views in 8 minutes really does show that you've touched a lot of people's hearts with your videos.

It’s the “what do we do next to live?” Motion cause that’s how I felt when they told me I had stomach cancer

I had cancer when I was 14 and have been in remission for 15 years. I'm now 29 and my cancer has returned. it was quite a slap in the face hahaha. I am going through chemo again and taking one day at a time. some days are harder than others, but watching your videos and other youtubers help lighten my day.

I’m so happy that your whole experience went smoothly and successfully. It’s inspiring me to go get yearly skin checks. 🙏💕

Bit of surgery info for anyone interested 😊
The 'tissues' they layed down around the surgery site is to help set up an area of sterilisation, they make a square over a patch of completely sterilised skin so they don't have to worry about contamination from accidentally touching a part of your skin or clothes that hadn't been cleaned
And the shape of the surgery site itself is simply because the 'eye' shape makes a much nicer (flat) suture line then a circle (a circle would have left two little peaks of skin sticking up at the ends of the suture line)

When I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. My immediate thought was “what did I do wrong?” “Am I a bad person who deserved this?” It was pretty tough. But I’ve still got 8 years left 💪

I’m so sorry to hear of your melanoma diagnosis. But THRILLED to hear they got it all!! My mom is a 4 time cancer survivor. (Breast, colon and skin cancer 2x). She just had skin cancer surgery 2 weeks ago and is healing nicely. Its overwhelming and scary and sh*tty, but you’re AMAZING and all your subscribers TOTALLY support you! ❤️❤️❤️

Sending best wishes Lex. And your "cold responses" to the doctor is a very common trauma response. I do that myself a lot. And I'm sure that doctor is used to those kind of responses as well.

When you hear the word cancer, it changes your life. My mother was diagnosed in February. She is going through chemo and radiation, and it' had honestly been the most difficult time.

For the love of God and all that is holy, Lex, please take breaks when you need to. Taking time to process any kind of trauma is the hardest yet most important part of healing. We will all still be here to watch your videos and support you when you feel you are ready to get back into it. ❤

You feeling nothing at the doctor's office is a natural response for your body. You are correct when you say that you might have been in shock, you most likely were. Cancer is a scary thing and I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I hope you do get better ♥
